I'm a valid tour operator(inbound) based in Thimphu, capital of Bhutan. Previously I also worked as a freelance tour leader for more than 7 years in other travel agents. The agency that we are operating now may look quite new but I assure you that the employees out here are atleast with 5 years of experiences in hospitality and tourism management. we have come up with few bonus packages depending upon the number of clients in a group and interests.
well let me give you a brief introduction about Bhutan:-
Bhutan is a small and land locked country located in between the Himalayas, and sandwiched by two giant countries, China in the north and India in the south, east and west. It's often referred as the forgotten shangrila or the hidden paradise to the outer world. Until 1973 bhutan was a isolated country, Not known to the other countries, specially the western countries. Tourism started in the year 1974 and that was the time Bhutan started to open its door to the outside world. The tourism council of Bhutan mainly focuses in a policy of "low volume, high quality'. Tourism plays a very vital role not only in generation the national income but also in solving the problem of unemployment. We have massive tourists visiting our country from all across the world. Total tourist arrival in 2011 was 66,000. In 2012 it was 105000. In 2013 total number was 116000 and in 2014 total arrival was 134000.
The main concern of the government and the people here is to preserve its traditional and cultural aspects. It's a place where nature, religion, beliefs and myths combine together to give the foreigners a glimpse of how Bhutanese people live their daily life.
